WECARE4U International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to Water, Education, Climate Change, and Renewable Energy for You. We empower global and local communities through sustainable initiatives that provide clean water, quality education, climate resilience, and renewable energy solutions. By filing for 501(c)(3) status, we commit to transparency, accountability, and maximum impact in every project we undertake.
Leadership Team
Dr. Emmanuel Opong
Over 35 years of leadership in international development, public health, WASH programming, and philanthropy across 30+ countries. Former Regional WASH and Capacity Building Director for World Vision Southern Africa. Adjunct Professor at Drexel University and University of Nevada, Reno. Passionate about evidence-based programs that improve lives through clean water, education, and sustainable development.
Creighton Edington
Retired educator with over 25 years of experience teaching STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Fulbright-Hays Research Abroad Scholar (1999) with two years of fieldwork in West Africa (2007-2009). Former Director of STEM Programs and Senior Instructional Systems Specialist, dedicated to empowering the next generation through innovative, hands-on education and sustainable community initiatives.
Dr. John Akudago
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Energy, and Climate Change Director at Habitat for Humanity International. Leads global WASH strategy across 70+ countries. Former WASH Technical Advisor for Samaritan’s Purse and Senior Research Associate at the Pacific Institute. Expert in water resources management, emergency response, and community-based development.
Ms. Jolena Akudago
Provides essential governance, documentation, and administrative leadership. Ensures transparent operations and strong organizational compliance while supporting the mission of sustainable community development worldwide.
Dr. Alhassan Ndekugri
Oversees financial stewardship, budgeting, and fiscal accountability for WECARE4U International. Brings deep expertise in nonprofit finance and ensures every dollar advances our mission of clean water, education, climate action, and renewable energy.
