Building wells and purification systems to ensure every community has access to safe, life-saving drinking water.
Supported by the META Community Action Grant, this initiative partners with local communities to build and maintain sustainable water infrastructure. We fund the construction of wells, installation of purification systems, and community training programs to ensure long-term access to clean drinking water.
Key Impact: Empowers communities with ownership of their water resources and improves health outcomes in underserved areas.
In rural Liberia, WECARE4U International is installing boreholes, hand pumps, and solar-powered purification units to combat water scarcity and contamination. The project also includes hygiene education and maintenance training for local residents.
Key Impact: Provides safe drinking water to thousands, reduces waterborne diseases, and frees up time for education and economic activities.
To promote sustainable water resources development and management, WECARE4UI also partners with communities to focus on water conservation, recharge and water quality protection activities.
WECARE4U International promotes the sustainability of the water systems through three integrated pillars: (i) technical services delivered by professionalized operators, (ii) integrated WASH insurance, and (iii) a National WASH Mutualization Fund (WMF). These elements are brought together under a āBuild, Run, and Sustainā (BRS) approach/model to improve the reliability, resilience, and financial sustainability of water and sanitation services.
This is our unique identity.
